There’s somewhat of a panic surrounding donated venison. A doctor from North Dakota screamed “lead-tainted venison” and states including, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa, pulled the donated meat from their food shelves or at the very least stopped distribution of it while it could be tested for lead contamination.
